Samsung has recently launched the Galaxy S23 series, while we have already started getting rumors of Galaxy S24 series camera specs. According to the latest, Samsung may not bring any upgrade to the Galaxy S24 and S24 Plus primary camera, continuing the same 50-megapixel sensor.

Tipster claimed that both Galaxy S24 and S24 Plus will be stuck on the Samsung GN3 50-megapixel camera sensor. It’s the same camera that the company first used in the Galaxy S22 and S22 Plus and followed in the Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23 Plus.

However, the Galaxy S24 Ultra is expected to continue the ISOCELL HP2 image sensor, bringing a 200-megapixel resolution with stunning AI capabilities. It was previously rumored that the S24 Ultra would get upgraded telephoto camera sensors for better zooming.

The Galaxy S23/S23 Plus’ 50-megapixel GN3 sensor brings 1.0µm pixels, Dual Pixel PDAF, and OIS. It’s augmented by a 10-megapixel 3x telephoto, and a 12-megapixel ultrawide camera. If the rumor is true, both phones may be avoided in the market as competition is getting fierce.

Samsung is working on the development of its Galaxy-exclusive chipset, however, it’s in the very initial stage. The company hopes to install the first batch of chipsets tailor-made for Galaxy in the Galaxy S25 series by 2025. Until then, it’s bounded with Qualcomm to use Snapdragon for Galaxy!

To make its processor even more epic, the Korean tech giant is finding different ways. In a recent development, it has hired a Chinese AI chip expert who is responsible for development R&D and team creation. Hopefully, Galaxy fans may get an unbeatable mobile processor whenever it comes!
