Samsung readying 10-core Exynos 2400 for some Galaxy S24
The Galaxy S24 series may load Exynos 2400 in some markets as Samsung is seriously working on its 10-core mobile chipset. Over the last few months, we are hearing rumors citing Exynos’ re-arrival to the Galaxy S lineup in 2024, which could happen as well.
Market research agency TrendForce reportedly found evidence cementing plans for Samsung to bring back the Exynos 2400 processor to the market with the Galaxy S24 series. However, Qualcomm will remain in the majority as Snapdragon for Galaxy supplier.
10-core Exynos
Data shared by TrendForce suggests that the Galaxy S24 will be equipped with Exynos 2400 chip, featuring 10 CPU cores and fabricated on a 4nm LPP process. It means Samsung may not take risks again by using its latest 3nm process in the next flagship Exynos.
Meanwhile, power consumption and thermal issues are raising Samsung’s tension, which it must have to solve. The Exynos 2200 already damaged the Galaxy S22’s reign, forcing Qualcomm to make a major fabrication switch from Samsung Foundry to TSMC.
Europe will get Exynos next year?
As of now, it’s difficult to determine what could be the company’s plan for the Exynos 2400 processor and Galaxy S24 series. Following its conventional strategy, Samsung may ship the Exynos-powered Galaxy S lineup in Europe in next year, which getting Qualcomm this year.
Europe is a key market for Samsung, where it makes big profits. Europeans are quite happy this year as they finally got a powerful flagship Galaxy phone, thanks to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy. If the S24 lineup brings back Exynos, the company may surely see sales drop in corresponding markets.
Samsung has signed a multi-year partnership with Qualcomm, resulting in a custom (fine-tuned) variant of Snapdragon for the Galaxy S23 series. As reported earlier, the company will continue to bring custom Snapdragon chips with next-generation Galaxy flagships including the Galaxy Z5 lineup.
Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra design will be revealed soon. Meanwhile, a trusted source leaked the design dimensions of the next Samsung Ultra. The input suggests S25 Ultra will be the thinnest Ultra model in years.

Tri-fold concept previously showcased a device having screens on three sides. The phone will have two hinges, allowing users to expand all three displays. The current foldable features a single hinge in the middle, offering a tablet-like screen size.
Beyond that, the tri-fold phone would offer an even larger screen in a more portable size. Software-derived features could further enhance usability, with one panel being used as a keyboard and others as screen and standing support.
Durability still remains the main concern in this kind of innovative device. Foldable phones launched by Samsung and Huawei are gradually entering the mainstream. However, consumers still refrain from preferring foldable as their next upgrade.
Huawei’s tri-fold could remain a China-exclusive product. Samsung may also come up with its tri-fold handset in the near future. The Display department has worked enough on the panel, but the Mobile division hasn’t yet approved development.
