Samsung has already started releasing the April 2023 security update rollout for Galaxy A53 5G, and now expanding to more markets. In the latest development, the A53 smartphone users received the latest security update that sweetens Gallery app in South Korea.

As Samsung is expanding the update to Galaxy A53 5G users gradually, all variants may get updated to the April 2023 security update shortly. Whenever it comes, you will be able to verify the most up-to-date patch via version number A536NKSU4CWD1.

This month, the company distributed a major Camera/Gallery update to select Galaxy devices. However, the changelog of Galaxy A53 mentions improvements for the Gallery function, so there’s a possibility of the Image Clipper feature’s addition.

South Korea is Samsung’s home ground where it usually seeds firmware updates equipped with new features and major changes. As soon as the company ensures stability, we may get the same treatment in the American, Asian, and European markets.

Debuted pre-installed with Android 12-based One UI 4, the Galaxy A53 got the Android 13-based One UI 5.0 update last year. A couple of weeks ago, the Korean tech giant served more new features as part of the One UI 5.1 rollout to various Galaxy smartphone users.

To get the latest OTA on your Samsung smartphone, you need to access the system Settings. From here, scroll down and tap the Software update tab, followed by Download and install. Once done, you will have to follow on-screen instruction if your phone fetches a new firmware.
