Samsung Galaxy S21 major April 2023 security update expanding further

Samsung Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21 Plus, and Galaxy S21 are getting an April 2023 security update in more markets. At the start of April 2023, the company released the latest Android security patch for the Galaxy S21 series in the US and made it available in Europe and Korea. Now, Galaxy S21 smartphone users are grabbing this update in Brazil and Asian countries.

April 2023 security patch mends five critical, 46 high, and one moderate level of CVEs to provide a better experience. Also, the new rollout improves the system security and stability of the devices to enhance their performance.

Users of Samsung Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21 Plus, and Galaxy S21 Ultra smartphones can identify the April 2023 update with One UI build version G99xBOWO7EWCK in Brazil and G99xBXXU7EWCH in Southeast Asia respectively.

Along with the security update, the latest firmware also brings functional enhancements to the Camera and Gallery apps. Although there is no mention of any feature in the changelog, according to the information, the image clipper feature has been added to the update.
