Camera Assistant is a stunning plugin of Samsung’s Good Lock suite. At present, the Camera Assistant app is limited to select flagship models, while Samsung plans to bring it to Galaxy A series phones (such as A54, A53, and A73) with the One UI 6.0 upgrade.

Samsung community moderator informed a user that support for the Camera Assistant app will be provided to Galaxy A series in the second half of the year when the One UI version will change. The moderator didn’t reveal the exact version number of One UI but Samsung fans are well aware of that.

The mod didn’t confirm which Galaxy A series phones will gain support for the Camera Assistant app with the One UI 6.0 upgrade. However, we expect that the feature may be available for just a few A series models such as the Galaxy A54, Galaxy A53, and Galaxy A73.

Meanwhile, the camera in charge stopped saying that the schedule will be announced in the community as soon as it gets confirmed. The developers are trying to offer the Camera Assistant plugin to as many Galaxy models as possible, however, hardware restrictions are the only concern.

One UI 6 coming second half

The Korean community’s camera in charge hinted that the Camera Assistant will be distributed to Galaxy A phones with One UI 6.0 in the second half. Samsung’s Android 14-based One UI version will land in the second half of this year, and it’s not surprising news!

The company is expected to start the Beta program in late July this year, and the official rollout could begin as early as October. Last year, the Galaxy-maker promised fans that it is closely working with industry leaders to make Android and One UI update deployment faster.
