Samsung Galaxy Note 20 series and Galaxy S21 FE have started getting a new update with April 2023 security patch in India. The latest version enhances the overall performance and security of these flagship devices.

Users of Samsung Galaxy S21 FE can identify the April 2023 update with firmware G990EXXU5EWD2 while Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Note 20 smartphones are getting this update with One UI build version N98xBXXU6HWCC in India.

April 2023 security patch fixes a bunch of issues related to the security of the devices as well as improves stability and performance. Aside from the security bugs, the update also fixes some common issues.

For Galaxy Note 20 series, the latest firmware brings improvements to Camera and Gallery functions. It is expected to add the Image Clipper feature as its package size is too large compared to the regular monthly update which is approx 900 MB.

However, the changelog of the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE April 2023 update hasn’t mentioned any new change but its size is almost the same as the Note 20 series update.

In addition, several stock apps including Galaxy Wearable, Samsung Health app, Calculator, Members, and Voice Recorder may be updated to the latest version after the software update.
