April 2023 security update starts releasing for Samsung Galaxy A72

Samsung is rolling out a new update with the April 2023 security patch for Galaxy A72 in India. Users can identify the latest update via One UI version A725FXXS5DWD2 and an installation package of 220.40 megabytes.

For your Galaxy A72 smartphone, Samsung has included fixes for 5 critical, 46 high, and one moderate level of CVEs with the April 2023 security patch. Also, the firmware improves the system security and stability of the devices as well as enhances performance to provide a better Galaxy experience.

It is an initial rollout so it may take days/weeks to reach all Galaxy A72 devices. It is worth mentioning that the update is based on One UI 5.1. So if you haven’t installed the latest One UI on your smartphone then do it now to get another update and an enhanced device performance.
