Google Keep testing new Tile for Samsung Wear OS smartwatches

Samsung smartwatches launched in 2022 and later are powered by the Wear OS operating system. Thankfully, the Galaxy Watch models continue to get new app-derived features. In a recent development, it is reported that Google Keep will be bringing a new Tile to Wear OS smartwatches.

As discovered by 9to5Google, the new Wear OS Google Keep feature would ask users to Choose a Note, and once they choose a note or list, it will display the note’s contents on the screen when the user switches to that Tile. This hidden Keep Tile is quite similar to its Single Note widget that users use on Android phones.

In the recent past, Android’s Keep app added a “Single note” home screen widget, while the Wear OS application added complications to quickly create a note or list. With regular enhancements, Google Keep is proving itself a stunning service available across mobile platforms.

Since the Galaxy Watch 4 and Watch 5 series run Google’s Wear OS platform, Samsung fans will also get benefited. The company has recently rolled out a women-centric feature based on skin temperature sensor, while more tracking tools are already in the pipeline.
