More Samsung Galaxy S23 users receiving May 2023 security update

Samsung Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23 Plus, and Galaxy S23 Ultra smartphones already received May 2023 security update in several markets including Poland. Now,  the company is expanding this latest update for Galaxy S23 models in more countries.

The Korean tech giant is releasing a new update for Galaxy S23 smartphones in Australia. The latest update brings stability optimization, bug fixes, and enhanced security to provide an amazing Galaxy experience.

May 2023 security update for Galaxy S23 can be identified via the firmware version mentioned below.

  • Galaxy S23 – S911BXXS1AWD1
  • Galaxy S23 Plus  – S916BXXS1AWD1
  • Galaxy S23 Ultra – S918BXXS1AWD1

Users of the Galaxy S23 series will have to download a 344.57 megabytes package to install the update.

May 2023 Security Update 

According to official details, Samsung’s May 2023 security patch fixes 4 critical, 48 high, and 3 moderate level of common vulnerability exposures, however, 2 were fixed in the previous release and 1 isn’t applicable on Galaxy devices.

Through this patch, the company mends issues related to App Lock, Telephony framework, Call Settings, and Bootloader. Check full details here…
