Samsung expands Galaxy S22 May 2023 security update in Europe
Samsung Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22 Plus, and Galaxy S22 Ultra smartphones are receiving May 2023 security update in Europe. These smartphones received the latest security patch in Brazil a few days back.
As per the official information, the May 2023 security maintenance release brings fixes for 21 Samsung Vulnerabilities and Exposures (SVE) items along with more than 58 common vulnerability exposures by Google. These vulnerabilities are related to bootloader, Call, App Lock, and more.
Users of the Samsung Galaxy S22 series in Europe will get a bug-free experience as well as improved performance of many stock apps after installing the May 2023 security update.

The bumped-up firmware weighs 244.43 megabytes package. The update is currently available in limited countries and Samsung will swiftly expand it to more Galaxy S22 smartphones in different markets.

To install the latest update on your Samsung Galaxy S22 smartphone, open your Galaxy device Settings, press on the Software Update option, and then click on the Download and install option. Once after installing the update, you will not be able to download the old software because of updates to the security policy.
