Google I/O 2023 event is scheduled for today where Google will introduce new solutions, devices, and technologies. It’s going to be the tech industry’s biggest event, bringing the first foldable Pixel, the affordable Pixel 7a as well as the progress of the Android 14 OS.

The Google I/O 2023 is scheduled for 10 am PT today, fans can watch the event and witness the industry’s biggest unveiling. As the Android 14’s Beta program has already begun, the company is expected to showcase new features and rollout roadmap.

Android 14

Google dropped the first Developer Preview of Android 14 in February. In March, the company released 2nd build of Preview, followed by the first Public Beta in April. Hopefully, Google Pixel phones will receive the second Beta today, which will be packed with new features and changes.

Pixel Devices

This year, Google is finally entering the foldable smartphone market, with launching its first product namely Pixel Fold. The device equips a display and chipset supplied by Samsung and is ready to compete with the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 5.

Apart from this, Google I/O 2023 will also bring the affordable smartphone – Pixel 7a, which leaked a lot of times over the past few days. Last but not least, the first Pixel Tablet will also be introduced during the unveiling as another competitor to Samsung’s flagship tablets.

Upgrades to Search

Due to ChatGPT’s integration into Bing, Google is forced to empower the Search with artificial intelligence capabilities. The company has been working on projects to make search more powerful and user friendly, which are expected to be displayed at today’s event.
