Samsung has started rolling out a new update for the Galaxy S20 FE 4G smartphone that installs the May 2023 security update. The latest update comes with a bigger installation package, which suggests that new features have also been added through this update.

According to the official details, May 2023 security update fixes over 70 flaws to provide better security to the device. In addition, the update also brings stability optimization, functional enhancement, and bug fixes.

The installation package size of this update is around 1015 MB, which is much bigger than the regular monthly patch. That’s why it is possible that with this update, the company has added the Image Clipper feature to Galaxy S20 FE in addition to security enhancement.

Introduced with Samsung Galaxy S23, the Image Clipper feature allows users to extract an object or thing from an image with a transparent background. Furthermore, several stock apps such as Galaxy Wearable, Calculator, Smart Switch, Voice Recorder, and more can be updated to the latest version after updating new software.
