Samsung Galaxy S21 FE and Galaxy A73 smartphones have started getting a new update with May 2023 security patch. The update improves system security and stability to boost the performance of the devices.

At the moment, the latest Android patch is rolling out in Brazil for Samsung Galaxy A73 and Galaxy S21 FE. It is just an initial rollout and other countries could get access to the update within the next few days.

May 2023 Security Patch Details

Samsung’s May 2023 security patch fixes 4 critical, 48 high, and 3 moderate levels of common vulnerability exposures, however, 2 were fixed in the previous release and 1 isn’t applicable on Galaxy devices.

Furthermore, the update also enhances some functions of the devices, fixes some known bugs, and optimizes stability.

Aside from this, the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE smartphone recently received the second April 2023 security update in the month of May. However, the first April update brought the Image Clipper feature for Galaxy S21 FE models in Brazil.

How to update?

Open Settings, press on the Software Update option, and then click on the Download and install option. Follow the on-screen instructions to install the latest update.
