Samsung Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20 Plus, and Galaxy S20 Ultra users are getting a new update with May 2023 security patch in the US. Notably, this update rolled out in Brazil and more market users will receive it soon.

The latest software aims to improve your smartphone’s system security and reliability to keep the data safe against exploits and vulnerabilities. As per the information, it mends over five dozen issues to enhance the overall performance.

It resolves 4 critical, 48 high, and 3 moderate levels of common vulnerability exposures, however, 2 were fixed in the previous release and 1 isn’t applicable on Galaxy devices.

May 2023 security update for the Samsung Galaxy S20 series in the US can be identified via One UI version G98xUSQS4HWE1 and an installation package size of 282.42 MB. At the moment, the company is releasing an update for locked variants on the T-Mobile carrier network. Other carriers could receive this update in the upcoming week.
