Samsung AWEB software that could fix Galaxy S23 camera issues surfaces

The Galaxy S23 series will soon receive new software as part of Samsung’s monthly update policy. Ahead of the rollout, we are aware of some of the changes that the next Samsung software (AWEB) would bring to the Galaxy S23 series, which is related to the camera department.

In a recent development, a new test software surfaced on CheckFirm (via tarunvats33), which is likely to bring fixes to Galaxy S23 series’ camera issues. The build carries a PDA version number ending with AWEB and is likely to include the June 2023 patch as well.

In late April, the South Korean tech giant rolled out a big firmware to most of the flagship smartphones, bringing camera-related improvements and bug fixes. Similarly, the company has another OTA in the pipeline, which is reportedly on its way.

With the upcoming software, the Galaxy S23 devices may get fixes for HDR vignetting problem, which occurs occasionally and in certain scenarios. Moreover, the Portrait camera will get an incredible upgrade, thanks to the 2x cropping function developed by Samsung.
