In late April, Samsung updated the Galaxy A10e smartphone with May 2023 One UI patch. Later, the company’s most up-to-date Android plus One UI security booster package expanded to the top-of-the-line Galaxy S23, S23 Plus and S23 Ultra.

Following the initial rollout for select models, Samsung rapidly updated all of the flagship phones and tablets with the May 2023 One UI patch. Plenty of mid-range and budget Galaxy devices have also been gifted with the latest security enhancements OTA.

Earlier this month, the company revealed that its May One UI OTA provides fixes to a number of Samsung Vulnerability Items. Besides, it also comes with the newest Android patches discovered and fixed by Google for Galaxy phones and tablets.

All the Galaxy Z, Galaxy S, and select Note series phones are listed for new software updates per month. Some models of the Galaxy A lineup are also getting blessed with Samsung’s flagship treatment, while others are still on the quarterly updates plan.

Samsung rolls out firmware updates in various phases, so it’s not surprising at all if you have not got the May patch yet, while it began to rollout in other markets. Carriers often delay the new software’s deployment due to their additional security check for locked models.

May update isn’t a significant deal for those who love exploring new features. This is just a security improver OTA. If you are looking for more than just “patches,” Samsung’s going to amaze you with the next software update, which reportedly brings camera improvements for select models.
