One UI 5.1.1 will be the next stable One UI update, expected for release in late July this year. Meanwhile, Samsung users are wondering about the Android 14-based One UI 6, which will be available for Galaxy devices across different form factors including phones, tablets, and foldables.

Samsung’s One UI 6.0 will release later this year, while the Beta program could start by July 2023. Despite a long gap in the timeframe, Samsung silently released support for One UI 6 software to the stock Calculator app for some users.

The initial Calculator app update distribution started in early June 2023. As per the info, Samsung’s latest Galaxy S23 series phones have got this new app version with unreleased One UI 6 support in select markets. The update may be available for more consumers throughout the month.

In the changelog, the Samsung Calculator update mentioned “updated colors following OneUI 6.x.” The text indicates that the next Galaxy Android skin will be more colorful, inspired by the Android’s Dynamic Theming engine.

Samsung Calculator became the first Samsung app to get updated with One UI 6.0 support. However, the company will continue to enhance stock application prior to the Beta program so consumers will not face any kind of problem using basic functions.
