This year, Samsung One UI 6 release would be the biggest rollout in the tech industry world, as part of delivering the Android 14 update. The company is putting extra effort into boosting the update deployment process, with the latest leak shades light on possible One UI 6 Beta for the Galaxy S23 series.

According to tipster Dohyun Kim, Samsung could release the One UI 6 Beta for the Galaxy S23 series in mid-July this year. Notably, the One UI 5 Beta went live on the Beta channel in the first week of August, 10 days ahead of the stable Android 13 debut.

The source added that Samsung’s stable Android 14 update will be available in October. This is the same timeframe as the last year’s UI rollout, with the latest Galaxy S lineup will be the first to secure it. Meanwhile, the Beta activity is seeing an early debut if everything goes as planned by the internals.

With the first One UI 6 Beta, the South Korean tech giant could just install the Android 14 OS to Galaxy S23. Later Beta builds are likely to bring new features and user interface upgrades, just like the last year. Through this, the company will ensure a seamless device experience for Beta testers too.

Various Galaxy devices are eligible for the Android 14 update but not all will get it early. Thanks to the Beta program, select flagship models are expected to share the new OS by July. Other models including mid-range and budget ones will have to wait until the official launch later this year.

We’ve recently compiled and shared a list of devices that will get the major update first. The chart includes the latest Galaxy S23 series on top, followed by the Galaxy S22 series and the Galaxy S21 series. The upcoming Galaxy Z Fold and Flip models will also receive One UI 6 Beta in select markets.
