Verizon Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 grabbing May 2023 security update

Verizon is rolling out a new update with May 2023 security patch for Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 5G smartphone users in the US. The latest software is currently only available for locked Galaxy Z Fold 2 models and unlocked variants will soon receive it.

May 2023 security update for Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 5G smartphone comes with One UI build version F916USQS2JWE3 on the Verizon network. If you have received the update then install it now to make your smartphone more secure.

From Verizon, the Galaxy Z Fold 2 5G has already received 33 software updates, with the latest patch being the 34 addition. Throughout the period, the carrier delivered major OS and One UI iterations along with dozens of security patches.

Samsung’s latest security patch brings fixes for over 70 vulnerabilities and exposures that were harming user privacy and security. In addition, the new firmware improves the system security and stability of the devices as well as enhances performance to deliver a better Galaxy experience.
