Official: Samsung confirms first Korea Unpacked, Galaxy Z Fold 5 launch on July 27
For the first time, Samsung is holding a Galaxy Unpacked in South Korea. Recently, the company has officially confirmed that the Galaxy Z Fold 5 launching in late July at an Unpacked at COEX in Samseong-dong, Gangnam, an intersection where Teheran-ro and Bongeunsa, a millennial Buddhist temple, converge.
In a press release, Samsung Australia officially revealed that its next Galaxy Unpacked event will take place on July 27 in South Korea. There will be a lot more than the Galaxy Z Fold 5, which hints at the arrival of Galaxy Z Flip 5, Galaxy Tab S9 series tablets, and Galaxy Watch 6 series smartwatches.
TM Roh, Samsung’s president and head of its mobile experience business, said in a statement that “Hosting Unpacked in Seoul holds great significance both as it is a city that has become an emerging epicenter of innovation and culture as well as the foldable category.”

It’s worth mentioning that Samsung Newsroom deleted the press-release minutes after publishing on the Australian platform. Since the web archive missed to fetch this URL, it’s still listed on Google’s search results page, which you can see through the screenshot below.
