Samsung Health launches Olympic Day Step Challenge

Samsung introduces Samsung Health Olympic Day Step Challenge on the One UI Health app. This challenge is part of encouraging users all around the world to log steps, stay active and enjoy the significant health benefits of daily movement.

In celebration of Olympic Day 2023 on June 23, the Olympic Day Step Challenge will be available in 18 countries. The Samsung Health’s Olympic Day Step Challenge will appear in a banner on the app on June 8 in anticipation of the event.

By simply tapping on the banner, Samsung Health users can join the challenge in seconds. The challenge will then begin on June 10 and end on Olympic Day itself, June 23. Users from the below-listed markets will be able to join the challenge on the Health app;

With an overall target of 100,000 steps, users will be encouraged by a congratulations message that pops up with each 20,000-step milestone achieved, while the “Together” tab in the app lets users access the “Challenge Map” and check their overall step count and ranking.

Participants who manage to complete the whole challenge will be rewarded with a unique “Olympic Day Badge,” which will be displayed in the “My Page” section of the Samsung Health app.

With every milestone congratulations message, Samsung Health Olympic Day Step Challenge’s participants will also be invited to join Let’s Move on Olympic Day. Find out how to join the movement at Olympics.com.

The Samsung Health Olympic Day Step Challenge is part of the International Olympic Committee’s Let’s Move initiative, aiming to inspire and enable the world to move more every day.
