Samsung Galaxy S21 FE, Galaxy S20 FE, and Galaxy A42 smartphones are getting a new update with June 2023 security patch. This new software comes with security improvements and bug fixes to enhance user experience.

The update is rolling out gradually to different regions, so users may have to wait for a while before they get it on their devices. Currently, Samsung Galaxy S21 FE and Galaxy A42 are getting the latest update in the US, while Galaxy S20 FE is getting it in some European countries.

June 2023 security patch details

Samsung’s June 2023 Android security patch comes with fixes for more than 50 issues including 3 critical and 47 high levels of common vulnerability exposure. The newest Android and One UI software patches ensure the best level of security on your Samsung Galaxy device.

Furthermore, it fixes issues related to CC Mode, Exynos, and Knox ID. This update will make your device more secure and optimized, and enhance your user experience.

To install the latest version on your smartphone, you just need to navigate toward your Galaxy smartphone Settings. Once done, visit the Software update tab and click on the Download and install button. Let your device connect to the OTA server and allow it to download the new firmware, if there’s any.
