Android 14’s development is underway, while Google announced the Platform Stability milestone on Beta 3. Yesterday, the company released Android 14 Beta 3.1 with some Pixel bug fixes, while Beta 3 brought new appealing animation for the profile switcher UI.

As spotted by Mishaal Rahman, Google has incredibly revamped the profile switcher UI with Android 14 Beta 3, bringing a more appealing animation. In Pixel’s Android, it’s quite easy to switch between profiles, thanks to the Quick Settings panel.

As soon as you trigger the toggle, Android 14 now fades the screen to reveal a full-screen profile icon with a circular progress bar around it, which disappears after the other profile is loaded. Since One UI lacks this useful feature, Google is continuously making improvements and bringing UI tweaks.

As Mishaal shown in his Twitter post, the animation isn’t too smooth for now. However, the Stable release of Android 14 is yet to be done, which carries the hope for further improvements. However, it’s great to see that the company is implementing Material You designs across the operating system.
