According to Ice, the Samsung Galaxy S23 series will get the June 2023 update next week. The tipster mentioned June “super” update, which hints that there will be a lot to explore. Besides, there could be another release within June as pointed out by the same source.

The South Korean tech giant will install a new 2x portrait camera mode into the Galaxy S23 Ultra. This new cropping solution will deliver better portrait shots, thanks to the 200-megapixel sensor’s 50-megapixel cropping. Moreover, some of the most frustrating issues would also be addressed.

In the past, the company rolled out camera-centric firmware to the Galaxy S22 series. The same treatment has been given to select older flagships, but it’s not the same case this time. The Galaxy S23 series is the only flagship which is waiting for the June update.
