Samsung’s screenshot feature is way too ahead as compared to Android rivals. Even before Android, One UI had the feature to capture scrolling screenshots and seamless editing. As One UI 6 Beta is about a month away, today, I’m sharing a One UI 5.1 Quick Tip so your screenshots won’t include status and navigation bars.

Your Samsung Galaxy phone lets you take screenshots in not less than three ways including palm swipe, power + volume down button, and the newly added Quick Settings toggle. People usually take screenshots to save/store important content in a hurry or share the info with someone.

In this case, you may have surely noticed the frustrating elements in the screenshots that show on the top and bottom sides – the status bar and navigation bar (or three buttons). Thankfully, you can enable a toggle in your One UI 5.1 phone to prevent status and navigation bars appear on screenshots.

First of all, open your Galaxy phone’s Settings and access the Advanced features tab. Here, you will see a dedicated section for the stuff you are roaming for, which entitled Screenshots and Screen recorder. Simply, open it and you will get your toggle to “Hide status and navigation bars” from your next screenshots.
