Samsung Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra smartphones are getting the June 2023 security update that brings new features and enhancements to their devices. The update is already available in the Middle East, Brazil, and the US. And now, the update is expanding for Galaxy Note 20 users in Korea.

June’s 2023 update installs the latest Android security patch that fixes more than 50 security issues that could affect Galaxy smartphones and tablets. In addition, the update improves the Emergency SOS function, which allows users to quickly call for assistance in case of an emergency.

Users can now turn on or off the ‘Countdown’ function that gives them a few seconds to stop the emergency call. Furthermore, the new update also increases the accuracy of the location information that is shared with the emergency responders, making it faster and easier for them to find the users in need.

Aside from this, several stock apps including Galaxy Wearable, Global Goals, Kids, PENUP, Health, SmartThings, Galaxy Shop, Members, Pay, Smart Switch, and Voice Recorder may be updated to the latest version after new software.
