Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 could get aspect ratio changes
Samsung will launch the Galaxy Z Fold 5 next month, and we are an entire year away from the sixth generation. Meanwhile, tipster now claims that Samsung could ship the Galaxy Z Fold 6 will changes in aspect ratio, while the camera won’t be upgraded.
Tipster @Tech_Reve claimed that Samsung will change the aspect ratio of the Galaxy Z Fold 6 display. However, there’s no specific mention of which kind of aspect ratio change will the next-gen Fold face. To be mentioned, the Galaxy Z Fold 4 adopted a 23.1:9 aspect ratio.
The disappointing aspect of the Fold 6 is that it uses the same image sensor as the Fold 5.
The major update of the Fold 6 is the change in the aspect ratio of the external display. https://t.co/RVp454lNbw

It’s possible that the South Korean tech giant may introduce something closer to regular smartphones. That said, the Z Fold 6 would join rivals like Honor Magic Vs (21.3:9), vivo X Fold 2 (21:9), and the Pixel Fold (17.4:9) if it adopted a more conventional aspect ratio.
Similar to the Galaxy Z Fold 4, the upcoming Z Fold 5 uses the 50-megapixel ISOCELL GN3 sensor. And the leaker says that the company will continue to ship another future foldable with the same GN3 camera. If you may have wondered about the camera upgrade in next year’s foldable, you may get disappointed.
