T-Mobile sends June 2023 update to Samsung Galaxy S20 series

Samsung Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20 Plus, and Galaxy S20 Ultra smartphones are getting the June 2023 security update on the T-Mobile network in the US. The update is currently available for locked variants of Galaxy S20, however, unlocked models already received it a few days ago.

June 2023 security update for the Samsung Galaxy S20 series comes with One UI build version G988USQS5HWF2 and an updated package size of 297.46 MB on the T-Mobile network. This update is already available in the US, Brazil, and Europe. Other countries could get this update in the coming days.

This new firmware includes June 2023 security patch, which brings fixes for over 50 vulnerabilities and exposures that were harming user privacy and security. In addition, the new firmware improves the system security and stability of the devices as well as enhances performance to deliver a better Galaxy experience.

To install the latest version on your smartphone, you just need to navigate toward your Samsung Galaxy S20 smartphone’s Settings. Once done, visit the Software update tab and click on the Download and install button. Let your device connect to the OTA server and allow it to download the new firmware, if there’s any.
