Samsung Galaxy A51 5G gets improved SOS with June 2023 update

Samsung has pushed June 2023 security update for one of the popular mid-range smartphones – Galaxy A51 5G. This update comes with new features, security improvements, and bug fixes.

The update improves the ‘Emergency SOS’ function, which lets users send an urgent message to their contacts by pressing the power button four times. Now, users can also enable or disable the Countdown function, which delays the message by three seconds.

Furthermore, this new software update also makes the location information more accurate for emergency rescue. It fixes some bugs and enhances the performance and security of the device.

June 2023 update for Samsung Galaxy A51 5G smartphone arrives with One UI build version A516NKSU6FWF2 and an installation package of above 300 MB. The update is rolling out in Korea. It can be downloaded from Settings >> Software update >> Download and install. Users should back up their data before installing it.
