The Galaxy S23 Ultra is the most premium Samsung flagship smartphone. It runs the Android 13-based One UI 5.1 software, which is equipped with plenty of useful features. Today, I’m sharing the top five underrated features of Samsung’s Galaxy S23 Ultra and the One UI 5.1.

1. Use all cameras at the same time

To get the most out of the Galaxy S23 Ultra cameras, you only have to select the ‘More’ option and then “Director’s View,” so you can make various configurations with the dual view and take advantage of all the camera lenses in a single video.

2. Samsung DeX

Viewing any application that is on the Galaxy S23 Ultra smartphone in a big way is now possible and much easier and simpler with the Samsung DeX function, which is wireless. You must enter settings and select Samsung DeX, then select the screen on which you want to transmit.

3. Take photos with S Pen

The S Pen allows you to take photos without the need to have your cell phone in hand. All you have to do is open the camera and take advantage of its remote control function, leaving the button pressed and turning to the right zooms in and turning to the left zooms out.

4. Videos as lock screen

With this feature, lock screens with still images are in the past to have one with one or several videos. Here are the steps to follow to activate this option:

• Go to Settings
• Select Wallpaper and style
• Change wallpaper

You can select one or up to 10 videos, of 15 seconds, otherwise, you will have to edit. Another important aspect to highlight about this function is that it is only available for ONE UI 5.1

5. Copy texts from images

This function is super useful when taking photos of documents that have to be transcribed since this option only allows copy and paste, regardless of whether it is an image. This way you can quickly transcribe a document or even share the text via WhatsApp or any other application.
