Samsung’s Galaxy S23 series smartphones are being praised for their stunning battery life. Almost every Galaxy S23 consumer is happy with the performance and efficiency, while some began to face battery-draining problem after installing the recent June update.

There are a number of reports on Reddit communities in which Galaxy S23 smartphone users are talking about battery-draining issue, which occurred post-June 2023 update installation. The problem is not limited to the base variant as some reports of S23 Plus and S23 Ultra users are also there.

  • “Ever since I installed the June update it seems that my battery is draining faster. I used to go the whole day without having to recharge even with heavy use I would have 30% left at the end of the day. Now I have to recharge in the evening. Has anyone else experienced this?” – Source

Meanwhile, some S23 users said that their phone’s battery life is the same as before. They are having the same screen on time as before, which is praisable. However, there may be difference in battery life due to different builds that Samsung rolled out to consumers.

  • “Did not observe anything bad with battery life. It’s same (I am WF5 version, heard WF1, WF3 versions are also out there).” – Source
