Samsung June 2023 security update rolling out for Galaxy M02, M40

Samsung has pushed a new update for two Galaxy M series smartphones – Galaxy M02 and Galaxy M40, which installs the latest Android security patch to improve system security.

Users of Samsung Galaxy M02 and Galaxy M40 smartphones can identify the June 2023 security update through One UI build versions M022MUBS3BWF6 and M405FDDS2CWF3 respectively.

June 2023 security update mends over a bunch of issues and vulnerabilities with the update that was harming the Galaxy phone’s security and its users’ privacy.

The update is rolling out gradually so it may take some time to reach all M02 and M40 models. You just need to visit Settings, then tap on the Download and install option under the Software Update section.
