July 2023 begins, which Samsung device will get the latest patch first?

July 2023 is an important month for the smartphone industry. This month, Samsung will bring new flagship products and its Android 14-based One UI 6 skin through the Beta program. Meanwhile, Samsung has not started pushing out the July 2023 patch to any Galaxy models.

Usually, Samsung begins to release new security patch updates even before changing the calendar month, but, it’s not the same case in July 2023. However, there are three major reasons behind the delay in early patch deployment for flagship Galaxy models:

2. S23’s June update was late
3. Prep for One UI 6 Beta

Apart from the above-listed reasons, it’s possible that Samsung would begin to release the July 2023 update once Google makes it official for Pixel devices. It’s likely that Pixel phones will get the Android 13 July update tomorrow, following the first Monday policy.
