Samsung Smart TV equipped with LG OLED Display will launch soon
Samsung Electronics added an 83-inch OLED 4K TV (KQ83SC90AEXKR) to its OLED TV lineup in the July/August issue of its general catalog of consumer products. Notably, Samsung and LG Display confirmed an OLED TV alliance to further grow the market reach.
Last month, Samsung completed the conformity registration of the TV model with Korea’s National Radio Research Agency. After that, the company included 83-inch OLED 4K TV in the catalog to inform consumers of the product’s sales.

In fact, the Korean TV giant is only now finalizing its release schedule. Some TV market experts say that the new TV model will hit the shelves as early as August. In response, Samsung Electronics said, “Nothing has been finalized yet regarding the launch of an 83-inch OLED TV model.”
However, the partnership between Samsung Elec and LG is already a given as only LG Display currently makes OLED panels for 83-inch TVs. The launch of the 83-inch OLED TV is quite meaningful in that it marks the first time Samsung and LG have joined forces amid a recession in the TV industry.
