Last month, Fitbit rolled out June 2023 firmware update to the Charge 5. Following the update installation, some users reported that their activity tracker is no longer usable or broken and doesn’t even charge. It’s been 11 days from the initial reports and Fitbit is yet to address the problem.

As reported by GadgetsAndWearables, Fitbit Charge 5 firmware 194.61 update rendered some trackers unusable. Despite numerous complaints from users on various platforms, Fitbit’s support team is still struggling to resolve the issue.

Moreover, it has been reported that Fitbit is slow in providing support to Charge 5 consumers, and the situation is worse if the device is out of warranty. The troubleshooting steps given by the support staff didn’t work, ending up with the activity tracker in a broken state.
