Google is gearing up to launch its next flagship phone, the Pixel 8, in early October 2023. The phone is expected to feature some impressive specifications and a competitive price tag. At the moment, new information reveals Pixel 8 specification, price tag, and launch month.

According to tipster @heyitsyogesh, the Pixel 8 will sport a 6.17-inch FHD+ OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The phone will be powered by Google’s own Tensor G3 SoC, which is said to be a custom-made chip that will enhance the performance and AI capabilities of the device.

This phone will come with 8GB of RAM and 128GB/256GB of internal storage options. The camera department will be one of the highlights of the Pixel 8, as it will feature a 50MP main sensor (GN2) with optical image stabilization (OIS) and a 12MP ultra-wide lens. The selfie camera will be an 11MP shooter.

The Pixel 8 will run on Android 14, the latest version of Google’s operating system, which will likely introduce some new features and improvements. The phone will also have an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor for security and a 4,485mAh battery that will support 24W wired and 12W wireless charging.

The Pixel 8 is rumored to cost $649 for the 128GB variant and $699 for the 256GB variant, which is quite affordable for a flagship phone. The phone will compete with other premium devices such as the iPhone 13, Samsung Galaxy S22, and OnePlus 10.

The Pixel 8 is expected to be announced in early October, along with other Google products. However, the company could reveal the launch date in the coming weeks or months.
