Samsung is releasing a new update for Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra smartphones, which installs the latest July 2023 Android security patch to improve system security. Users can identify the latest update through One UI build version N98xFXXS7HWG2. 

July 2023 security update for Galaxy Note 20 smartphones is currently pushed in Argentina, Bolivia, and Peru. Other countries could get this update in the coming days or weeks. It is a gradual rollout, so reaching all Note 20 models may take time.

According to official details, the July 2023 security patch fixes over 80 issues including 3 Critical and 49 high levels of common vulnerability exposures. It mainly mends issues related to ABD commands, Audio system service, Transactions, Data Profile, Galaxy Themes service, Settings, and more.

To install the update on your smartphone, you just need to navigate toward your Galaxy Settings. Once done, visit the Software update tab and hit Download and install button. Let your device connect to the OTA server and allow it to download the new firmware, if there’s any.
