From July 18, Samsung will dispatch a service team to Gongju, Goesan, and Osong areas, which have been severely damaged by torrential rain to provide a “special flood recovery service.”

The Flood Recovery Special Service Team has installed mobile service centers in Osong, Cheongju, Goesan, Chungcheongbuk-do, and Gongju, Chungcheongnam-do, and provides services such as cleaning and free inspection of flooded home appliances.

A bus featuring mobile inspection equipment is also dispatched to the site to support washing and drying of submerged phones and troubleshooting. In some areas where flood damage is concentrated, service engineers are directly touring damaged households to check home appliances.

Additionally, an engineer will visit the Samsung Service Contact Center (1588-3366) and provide the same special flood recovery service to customers who have reported that their home appliances have been damaged by flooding due to torrential rain.

Samsung Electronics Service has been actively promoting disaster recovery support activities, such as installing a mobile service center in affected areas and providing special services for victims affected by torrential rains and typhoons last year.
