July 2023 update releasing for locked Samsung Galaxy S21
Samsung is sending the July 2023 security update for carrier-locked Galaxy S21 series models in the US. However, this series already got the latest Android security patch in India, Brazil, and Canada.
The firmware version of this update is G99xUSQS8EWG1, which is currently available on the Sprint Mobile network. Other carriers could soon get this update in the coming days or weeks.
July 2023 security update for locked Samsung Galaxy S21 smartphones mend over 90 flaws that were affecting the users’ privacy and security. These include 3 critical, and 49 high-level of common vulnerability exposure related to Data Profile, Galaxy Themes service, Settings, and more.
You can check and install the update manually by going to Settings >> Software update >> Download and install.
