WhatsApp is rolling out to Wear OS and Samsung smartwatches
In a new expansion of the unified Wear OS ecosystem, Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 and Galaxy Watch 4 users can now use WhatsApp. This application allows users to continue conversations, reply to messages by voice and even answer calls without needing to take out their phones.
You can download the WhatsApp for Wear OS app through Google Play and pair with the Galaxy Watch 4 or Watch 5 series smartwatch. Following the initial rollout, WhatsApp will be progressively released from today to compatible Wear OS and Samsung smartwatches.
This big announcement has been made just a week before Samsung’s mega Unpacked event. On July 26, the company is going to unveil new Wear OS smartwatches along with a number of flagship products including foldable phones, and tablets.
