Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra may copy most of the S23 Ultra camera specs
Galaxy S23 Ultra is the most powerful camera smartphone in Samsung’s history. And it looks like the company could bring the same camera specs to the Galaxy S24 Ultra, scheduled for 2024.
Tipster IceUniverse reveals that Samsung plans to bring the 200MP ISOCELL HP2 camera sensor to the Galaxy S24 Ultra and even the S25 Ultra. It was released earlier this year, and S23 Ultra is the first phone to make use of it.
The source further added that the Korean tech giant has no plans to replace the 3x telephoto camera with an upgraded 5x solution. Meanwhile, it doesn’t mean entire camera sensors will replicate from the Galaxy S23 Ultra.
Use of ISOCELL HP2 in S24 Ultra makes sense as it’s a major upgrade in the camera portfolio. And rather than the ultrawide and 3x telephoto sensor, the next year’s Ultra flagship could be getting an upgraded 10x telephoto camera.
