Samsung Galaxy Watch 5, Watch 4 get new update in July 2023

Samsung is releasing a new update for Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch 5 in July 2023. The new update improves the security of both smartwatches to provide a secure and reliable experience.

The new update is rolling out in some European countries including the UK and the company will soon make it available for more Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch 5 users.

For Samsung Galaxy Watch 5, the latest update of July 2023 comes with a firmware version ending with AWG1 and an installation package size of 107.37 MB. On the other side, Galaxy Watch 4 series gets this update with a build version ending with GWG1 and an updated package size of 103.53 MB.

To check and download this update, go to the Galaxy wearable app on a connected Android phone and navigate to Watch Settings >> Watch software update. On the Home tab, go to Watch software update >> Download and install.
