Samsung Galaxy M44 5G coming India with SoC better than your S21 (FE too)

Back in 2021, Samsung launched the Galaxy S21 series, which shipped with Snapdragon chip in the US and China and Exynos in Europe and Asia. In particular, Galaxy S21 that launched in India uses Exynos 2100 chip, while US consumers got a better Snapdragon 888 SoC.

More than two years later, Samsung appears to be bringing a new smartphone equipped with Snapdragon 888 SoC, which could be the Galaxy M44 5G. Geekbench listing spotted by 91mobiles reveals that the Galaxy M44 5G featuring Snapdragon 888 chip could launch soon.

Moreover, the M44 5G carries the model number SM-M446K on Geekbench. The listing shows that the handset is powered by a processor codenamed “lahaina”, which is Snapdragon 888. The chipset has a max clock speed of 2.84 GHz, and it’s paired with the Adreno 660 GPU.

On Geekbench, the Galaxy M44 5G has a single-core score of 1531 and a multi-core score of 3771. The Geekbench listing also mentions the phone with 6GB RAM and running on Android 13 OS. In the coming days, we will get to hear more about this upcoming smartphone.
