Gboard’s new ‘Resize’ feature lets you customize your keyboard

Google is rolling out a new feature for Gboard for Android named “Resize”. It appears as an option in the toolbar and lets you customize the size and position of the keyboard.

With this new feature,  you can drag the keyboard to make it taller or shorter, or wider or narrower. You can also move the keyboard to any part of the screen. This gives you more flexibility and control over how you type on your device.

The Resize option is not similar to the Floating keyboard and One-handed mode,  however, it also does not have extra buttons to switch modes.

Currently, the Resize option is available in Gboard version 13.2.05.x beta. However, not all devices have this feature yet. You can check if you have it by tapping on the toolbar icon on Gboard.
