Samsung Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24+ to adopt Vertical Middle Frame design
Samsung is reportedly working on a new design for its upcoming flagship smartphones, the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24+. According to a tweet by @UniverseIce, a reliable source of Samsung leaks, the Galaxy S24 series will feature a vertical middle frame design, which will improve the grip and reduce the bezel width of the devices.
In addition, the tweet also claims that the current Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23+ have a failed design, with a wide middle frame on the front that adds to the overall bezel size.
The middle frame is the metal band that surrounds the edge of the phone, and it usually houses the antenna lines, buttons, and ports. A vertical middle frame design means that the metal band is thinner on the sides and thicker on the top and bottom, creating a more symmetrical and sleek appearance.
The failed design of S23 and S23+, the width of the middle frame on the front almost catches up with the width of the bezel, and the sum of the two is wider.

Samsung Galaxy S24 series is expected to launch in early 2024, and it may also bring other improvements such as an LTPO OLED display, an under-display selfie camera, a new processor, and a bigger battery.
Samsung has not officially confirmed any details about the Galaxy S24 series yet, so we will have to wait and see if the vertical middle frame design rumor is true.

There are three major changes in the body design of Samsung’s next Ultra flagship. The first is the frame, which is getting flatter like the iPhone. Second is rounded corners, that are not that rounded like S24/S25, and third is textured camera rings.

It will reduce the burden of the main processor so it can focus on the actual photo-taking. At the time your device is in a sleep or power-saving state, the sub-processor keeps running quietly in the background, consuming minimal power.
If the technology is used, you will have less noise in camera operations, smoother performance, and better battery life. At the same time, you won’t lose your favorite camera features, but your smartphone will last longer between charges.
