One UI 5.1 brings a slightly enhanced Quick Panel over the past One UI iterations. Meanwhile, One UI 6 features a completely revamped Quick Panel design, which Samsung made for accessibility and one-handed operations.

The One UI 5.1’s Quick Panel has small circular toggles in a 4×3 arrangement, followed by a Brightness slider. However, the redesigned panel is divided into four sections, which include necessary toggles as follows:

  • First Section – Large Wi-Fi and Bluetooth toggles
  • Second Section – 12 circular toggles in 4×3 arrangement
  • Third Section – Screen settings like Brightness, Eye comfort shield and Dark mode
  • Fourth Section – Smart View and Device Control

It’s great to see that the company is finally bringing radical cosmetic changes to the user interface. The Notification section and Quick Settings are the most used interfaces across the entire software. It will provide users with a refreshed feel and appearance.
