After Galaxy S20 FE, Samsung is rolling out a new update with August 2023 security patch for the Galaxy S20 series. The new update improves system security by fixing some issues.

Samsung’s August 2023 One UI patch brings fixes for over 70 flaws related to some apps including Members, Internet, and Galaxy Store. This update enhances the device’s stability, security, and performance.

It is a regular update so it does not contain any new features or changes. The update is currently rolling out in Brazil and the Korean tech giant expand this update in more countries in the coming days or weeks.

Users of Samsung Galaxy S20, Galaxy 20 Plus, and Galaxy S20 Ultra smartphones can identify the August 2023 update through One UI build version G98xFXXSIHWH1. The installation package size of this update is around 200 MB.

To install the update on your smartphone, you need to navigate toward your Galaxy S20’s Settings. Once done, visit the Software update tab and hit Download and install button. Let your device connect to the OTA server and allow it to download the new firmware, if there’s any.
