Transfers 13 FHD movies in 1 second, SK hynix’ 24GB LPDDR5X RAM will debut on OnePlus phone

SK hynix today announced the world’s first 24GB LPDDR5X memory for mobile devices. The company confirmed that its new 24GB LPDDR5X RAM is debuting soon with a OnePlus smartphone.

Back in November 2022, the Korean company started the mass production of its 24GB LPDDR5X DRAM. It operates at ultra-low voltages of 1.01 to 1.12V and is capable of processing up to 68GB of data per second.

SK hynix claims that this processing speed makes it possible to transfer 13 FHD (Full-HD) movies in one second.

OnePlus China President Li Jie added that with the new 24GB memory chip, OnePlus Ace 2 Pro is capable of opening up to 53 apps simultaneously and can hold up to 41 apps open for up to 72 hours.
