Google Keep app bringing text formatting options
Google Keep is a popular app for taking notes, but it lacks text formatting options. However, that might change soon, as a new video reveals new features.
The video shared by @AssembleDebug on Twitter shows that Google Keep will support four formatting options – Bold, Italic, Underline, and Font size. These options will be available in the bottom bar and will apply to both the text and the checkbox.
The font sizes will act as headers, with small, medium, and large sizes corresponding to the paragraph, H2, and H1 formats.
The news of Google Keep getting text formatting support was spotted almost a year ago but there was no preview/video of the feature except some string and icons.

Back in 2022, the feature was seen while founding formatting-related strings and icons in Android apps. However, it has not yet been released to the public. The video was made using a rooted Android device with manual modifications.
We hope Google launches text formatting in Google Keep soon, as it will make the app more useful for note-taking. It will also bring it closer to other note-taking apps that already have this feature.
