Samsung XR headset specs and prototype images leaked
Samsung is working hard to finalize its new extended reality headset. Earlier, the report revealed that Samsung could finalize the mass production plans of its XR headset this month, now, some of the key specs and images of the prototype have leaked.
Vrtuoluo (via Android Authority) posted the specs and images of a Samsung XR headset prototype. Since the Chinese website removed its post, the entire stuff is synced by Web Archive and is available here. This leak reveals the design of the Korean tech giant’s upcoming XR headset.

The prototype is equipped with four tracking cameras, which you can see on the corners. Additionally, it’s said to have dual RGB cameras for color passthrough and a depth sensor for environment and hand tracking. Moreover, the XR headset prototype also features OLED microdisplays.
The report says that the prototype features Exynos 2200 processor, which could be switched with a Qualcomm XR SoC prior to launch. Meanwhile, the device doesn’t have any tracked controllers, instead, relies on hand and eye tracking.
